Why LexRoota exists

Two countries.
One route that feels human.

LexRoota exists for the awkward space between Canada and Ukraine: the person is in one place, the asset or document is in another, and every institution understands only its own piece of the process.

● outcome first● practical execution● no manufactured complexity
The idea

A lawyer sees the legal step. A bank sees the compliance step. A notary sees the signature. The client sees one problem.

LexRoota is designed around the client’s view. We map the whole route, separate regulated roles clearly, and coordinate the sequence so the file does not disappear between providers.

Responsibility model

One file. Four different kinds of ownership.

The route is easier to trust when coordination, regulated work and final acceptance are not blurred into one vague promise.

01Client
Owns

Facts, instructions, commercial objective and truthful source documents.

Decides

What result is wanted, which facts are correct and whether the proposed scope is approved.

Does not own

The client should not have to guess which apostille, notary, registry or professional route applies.

02LexRoota
Owns

Route mapping, coordination, evidence organization, handoffs and visible scope.

Decides

How the workstream is sequenced and which unanswered dependency must be resolved next.

Does not own

LexRoota does not replace a licensed professional or promise a third party’s acceptance decision.

03Authorized provider
Owns

The regulated act or professional opinion that legally belongs to that provider.

Decides

Legal/notarial/tax or other regulated questions within that provider’s authority and engagement.

Does not own

A provider should not silently become owner of unrelated Canada ↔ Ukraine coordination unless that is actually agreed.

04Final recipient
Owns

Acceptance, filing, compliance review, registration or institutional decision.

Decides

Whether the submitted document/file satisfies the recipient’s current rules and internal requirements.

Does not own

No intermediary can responsibly guarantee a bank, registry, notary, regulator or other recipient outcome.

LexRoota ruleIf responsibility changes, the route and scope should say so explicitly.
LexRoota maple and ruta mark
The mark

Maple + ruta.

The symbol connects Canada and Ukraine without reducing either country to a flag. The maple leaf is the Canadian side; ruta is the Ukrainian botanical reference. Roots and route are built into the same idea.

The name

Lex + Roota.

Lex is structure, law and precision. Roota carries Ukrainian cultural memory while visually echoing roots and route. The brand should feel competent without looking like a courthouse lobby.

  • Warm, not pompous
  • Expert, not theatrical
  • Clear, not simplistic
  • Cross-border, not “diaspora bulletin board”
How we work

The route earns every step.

Cross-border work can be genuinely complicated. That is not a reason to add artificial layers. Each step should solve a real acceptance, execution, compliance or evidence problem.

01Start from the outcome

“I need my sister to sell my apartment” is enough to begin. The legal terminology comes later.

02Separate both countries

We make clear what happens in Canada, what happens in Ukraine, and what can move in parallel.

03Name the professional owner

Where a lawyer, notary, tax adviser, bank or authority owns a regulated step, that role is explicit.

04Quote the actual route

Third-party costs and optional steps should not hide inside a vague “full package”.

05Do not sell certainty we do not control

Acceptance, bank decisions and regulatory permissions belong to the institution that makes them.

For professionals

Your client has a Ukraine part.
Send us that part.

Canadian lawyers, accountants, notaries, realtors, financial advisers and corporate-service providers can keep their own client relationship while LexRoota coordinates the practical Ukraine-facing workstream.

What we coordinate

Documents, companies, property, funds and inheritance.

LexRoota maps the route, coordinates providers and keeps the file moving between Canada and Ukraine.

Professional scope

No pretending.

Where work is regulated, the appropriately authorized lawyer, notary, tax adviser, bank or other professional performs it. Canadian immigration representation and litigation are outside the initial public LexRoota scope.
